The turning point in a compact body

RS 3 Mini adopts an innovative design that includes a small body, built-in battery, and native vertical shooting capability. The compact and portable body can be easily put into a shoulder bag, allowing you to travel light. When in use, RS 3 Mini is about half the size of RS 3 Pro, making it even more convenient for extended use.

Ultralight, easy to control

The RS 3 Mini weighs just 795g in Portrait Mode, approximately 50% less than the RS 3 Pro and 40% less than the RS 3. It weighs just 850g when shooting with the horizontal plate. Additionally, a concentrated center of balance provides a more stable and ergonomic handheld experience.

Powerful yet practical

The RS 3 Mini has a payload capacity of up to 2kg, making it best-in-class for its weight and allowing it to easily handle larger setups like a Sony A7S3 + 24-70mm F2.8 GM lens. It supports traditional full-frame or APS-C mirrorless cameras, allowing for a wide range of camera and lens combinations. Thanks to its high-torque motors, the RS 3 Mini can maintain steady footage when zoomed in to the maximum focal length on most lenses, without the need for rebalancing.

Professional stabilization

Thanks to the same amazing third-generation RS stabilization algorithm as the RS 3 Pro, the RS 3 Mini can achieve professional-level image stabilization. Whether you're shooting from a low angle or in flashlight mode, your shots will always be perfect.

Fluid movements

The RS 3 Mini's unique size and features provide ample opportunity to achieve richer camera movements and language. It also reduces the need for retakes due to camera shake, allowing you to capture every moment and create with greater confidence.

New double layer quick release plate

An upgraded double-layer quick release plate features a top plate with a curved positioning guide that prevents the camera from rotating and loosening. With clear mounting and locking marks, the efficiency of launching and storing is further improved. It also complies with the ARCA standard, allowing for convenient switching between tripods.

Native vertical shots

The RS series has taken a step forward with the native vertical shooting function on the RS 3 Mini. Instantly switch to vertical without additional accessories.

Simply mount the standard quick release plate to the vertical arm of the stabilizer and you will get content optimized for social platforms.

Compared with vertical mode on other stabilizers, the rotation angle of RS 3 Mini in vertical mode has been greatly expanded. It also offers the same control experience as horizontal mode, and it is easier to shoot in vertical mode, upside down, flashlight mode, etc.

NATO expansion port

RS 3 Mini features a NATO port to support the installation of accessories such as handle grips, external auxiliary lights and monitors, allowing for more configurations and greater flexibility.

Shutter control via Bluetooth

The RS 3 Mini comes with the same Bluetooth shutter control that debuted on the RS 3 Pro. This feature supports traditional mirrorless camera models and allows the RS 3 Mini to automatically reconnect to a camera after initial pairing.

After pairing via Bluetooth, you can directly control your camera's video recording and photo capture functions via the record button on the stabilizer. When using a Sony camera with a supported digital lens, you can directly control the lens's optical or digital zoom via the front dial, eliminating the need for a camera control cable.

Stabilization mode selector

Press the M button to select PF (Pan Follow), PTF (Pan and Tilt Follow) and FPV mode. Users can also customize the tracking speed and other parameters of RS 3 Mini on the touchscreen, achieving a smoother and more intuitive shooting experience.

1.4" color touchscreen

The RS 3 Mini features a 1.4-inch color touchscreen with a new user interface. Adjust most functions without an app and access common settings quickly and intuitively.

Front wheel for focusing

Like the rest of the DJI RS series, RS 3 Mini sports an ergonomic front dial for adjusting focus, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and more. [3] Control the gimbal's 3-axis movement with the front dial for an even more effective solo shooting experience. 

Resume for 10 hours straight

The built-in battery grip supports up to 10 hours of battery life, providing enough power to meet your shooting needs for a whole day. [4] Recharge the RS 3 Mini in just 2.5 hours to get back to shooting quickly. You can even use it while charging.

DJI Mic for professional-grade audio recording

Pair RS 3 Mini with DJI Mic to take your vlogging to the next level with audio that matches your superior footage. The built-in storage design makes DJI Mic ready to use right out of the case. The compact microphone can transmit up to 250 m away and offers up to 15 hours of battery life with its charging case. The transmitters are lightweight, portable, and come with magnetic attachments for convenient use, allowing you to confidently handle a wide variety of sound recording scenarios.
