Through every detail, DJI RS 3 offers solo creators and independent crews a flexible and efficient shooting experience. Lightweight and sleek, it provides professional stabilization and efficient control, providing greater freedom and endless creative possibilities. DJI RS 3 is ready when you are.

Quick release plates

With dual-layer quick release plates, mounting a camera to the RS 3 is quick and convenient, with no need to rebalance the stabilizer after replacing a new battery or memory card.

A new adjustment knob on the tilt axis allows the camera to be moved forward or backward with pinpoint precision to more easily achieve accurate balance when changing lenses.

Automated axis locks

RS 3 lets you shoot instantly. When the gimbal is off, simply hold down the power button and the 3 axes will unlock while the gimbal automatically expands, allowing you to start shooting in seconds. Press the power button once and the axes will automatically lock into rest mode, making your travel and commuting much more efficient. Hold down the power button and the gimbal will automatically fold and lock.

Wireless shutter control

By implementing Dual-Mode Bluetooth, RS 3 supports wireless shutter control,[1] saving time and effort with every use. After initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video recording and photo shooting by simply pressing the shutter button on the stabilizer. Previously paired cameras can automatically reconnect after the first use, eliminating the need for a camera control cable.

Professional stabilization

Excellent weight/load ratio

Weighing just 1.3kg/2.8lb (including the gimbal, battery grip and quick release plates), the RS 3 can be easily held in one hand, while its load capacity of 3kg/6.6lb is more than enough to support mainstream cameras such as the Sony A7S3 or Canon R5 with a 24-70mm F2.8 lens.

3rd generation RS stabilization algorithm

Thanks to a next-generation RS stabilization algorithm, RS 3 provides greater stability in any scenario.

Fluidity beyond all limits

If you need even smoother results, activate SuperSmooth mode. The RS 3 will increase motor torque to further enhance stabilization, delivering steady footage even in fast-moving scenarios or when using lenses with a focal length equivalent to 100mm.

1.8" OLED touchscreen

Compared to the black and white screen of the RSC 2, the RS 3 features a full-color OLED touchscreen with an 80% larger 1.8-inch display. It also supports most of the Ronin app settings, providing intuitive and precise control along with a redesigned user interface.

Customizable front wheel

By rotating the front wheel you can control the zoom or focus. It can also be customized to control the shutter, aperture, ISO [2] or stabiliser movements, making it exceptionally convenient for single-handed operation.

Monitoring via Smartphone

RS 3 supports the Ronin Image Transmitter (formerly known as the Ronin RavenEye Image Transmitter) [3] to transmit live 1080p/30fps HD feeds directly to a mobile device. The maximum transmission distance is 200 meters [4] and the end-to-end transmission latency is only 60ms. [4] You can also connect a smartphone to the NATO port on RS 3 with the smartphone holder for wireless monitoring.

Integrated monitoring and control

Remotely adjust camera exposure directly in the Ronin app [2] or control the stabilizer with the virtual joystick for an integrated monitoring and control experience.

Force Mobile

With the Ronin Image Transmitter, you can use a smartphone as a motion controller to remotely control the RS 3, enabling more flexible and dynamic camera movements.

Quick release design

The RS 3’s new built-in battery grip features a quick-release design that makes battery changes easier and is smaller for storage than the RSC 2. It can also be charged independently of the stabilizer.

12-hour battery life + quick charge

The new battery grip offers an extended battery life of up to 12 hours,[5] enough to handle continuous shooting throughout the day. It supports 18W PD fast charging with a charging time of just 2.5 hours. It can also be used while charging to keep the RS 3 powered up almost indefinitely.
