Pre-registration

Enable Pre-Record in advance to capture every exciting moment as it happens. Once you press the record button, the camera will save footage for the preset time interval just elapsed*, recording the entire process. Ideal for fishing trips. Never miss the best moments or worry about how to archive long recordings.

Functionality

Capture the best moments as they happen. Press the quick select button on the side of the camera or the Bluetooth GPS remote control at any time during recording to mark that moment as a highlight. You can also add bookmarks during playback so you never miss a moment. Quickly locate bookmarked clips on the DJI Mimo app's editing interface, saving time searching for footage and speeding up the editing process.

DJI OsmoAudio™ Direct connection for exceptional audio quality

Osmo Action 4 can now connect directly to a DJI Mic 2/Mic Mini transmitter without a receiver,[11] simplifying your gear and workflow for a more efficient creative process. The DJI OsmoAudio™ connection ecosystem delivers premium audio and enables remote start/stop video recording and audio transmission up to 70 meters [12].

Live streaming

Action 4 supports live streaming via Wi-Fi or hotspot from your phone. Choose your preferred platform and resolution and connect with the world.

Use an external power supply to keep your action cam charged during longer live broadcasts, ensuring uninterrupted transmission.

Voice messages

Briefly press the Quick Switch button and the camera will announce the current shooting mode. Even if the screens are not visible, you can still select the desired mode.

One-touch editing

LightCut can recognize themes within your footage, automatically edit it, and generate 4K/60fps videos.

Eye-catching models

The LightCut app is perfectly tailored to the Action 4's usage scenarios. It can automatically select clips for cycling, diving, surfing, or skiing/snowboarding and intelligently pair them with exclusive templates to generate epic clips. Templates for camping, vlogging, travel, and parties are also available.

1. The Horizontal-Vertical Protective Frame is required for the vertical shooting function.

2. The 155° FOV supports video recording up to 4K/60fps and requires stabilization to be turned off.

3. 10-bit color depth is available for videos recorded in HEVC encoding and D-Log M color mode, and is not available in Low Light Picture Enhancement mode.

4. The high frame rate of 120 fps applies to 1080p, 2.7K 16:9 and 4K 16:9 video specifications.

5. The hydrophobicity of the front screen, rear screen and glass lens cover is made of AF coating, which may be damaged by accidental scratches.

6. Before using the action camera, close the battery cover and USB-C port cover and tighten the glass lens cap. It is recommended to install the Waterproof Case for long-term underwater shooting or in environments with high water pressure. Osmo Action 3 and its Waterproof Case are IP68 waterproof. Do not use the camera in hot springs or extreme underwater environments, or allow it to come into contact with corrosive or unknown liquids.

14. The ideal temperature is between -10°C and 40°C. Do not attach to curved surfaces and ensure the attachment surface is clean. It is recommended to press the accessory for 10 seconds after application and leave it in place for 30 minutes before use.

15. The Handlebar Mount for Osmo Action supports circular handlebars with a diameter of 8-35mm.

16. The plastic material of the Osmo Action Mouth Mount that comes into contact with the mouth meets FDA testing standards.

17. Exercise caution when engaging in extreme sports such as rock climbing and diving. Make sure no foreign objects are trapped around the neck to avoid the risk of suffocation.

18. Data acquired in a laboratory environment at 25°C (77°F) while recording video at 1080p/30fps, in normal video mode with Enhanced Image Quality disabled, EIS disabled, and displays turned off, and should be used for reference only.##

19. Maximum battery life was tested while recording video at 1080p/30fps (Power Reserve mode) with electronic image stabilization disabled and under laboratory conditions.

20. EIS is not supported in Slow Motion and Timelapse modes. HorizonSteady only supports 1080p/2.7K (≤60fps) video with a 16:9 aspect ratio, and HorizonBalancing only supports 1080p/2.7K/4K (≤60fps) video with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
