Smarter operations
The integrated model can detect vehicles, vessels, and subjects during search and rescue operations or routine flights. It also supports migration to other models, expanding its application scenarios. It also supports high-resolution grid photos and features powerful tracking capabilities.

Laser rangefinder, precise measurements
The laser rangefinder enables precise measurements in real time. With simple operations such as aiming, drawing lines, and calculating area, it can perform tasks such as marking the location of a target for inspection purposes or calculating the area of a forest fire. Users can also share information with relevant personnel via QR code on DJI Pilot or FlightHub 2, improving collaboration and workflow efficiency.

Recording of the observation field
DJI Pilot 2 can highlight the center of the camera's frame and the observed terrain area. It can display the detected area on the map, simplifying patrol and rescue operations in mountainous areas without clear landmarks.

Efficient flight, intelligent features
Cruise
By activating the Cruise control mode, you can fly the drone in a specific direction without continuously pressing the control sticks, making long-distance flights easier.
FlyTo
In case of emergencies or disasters, the drone is able to automatically adjust its trajectory and flight speed based on the surrounding environment, managing to reach a pre-established position without manual adjustments.
Smart Track
The Smart Track function allows you to precisely locate a subject and automatically adjust the zoom, making it easy to switch between subjects. It can automatically reacquire a subject even if it is obscured for a short period of time.
THEN
The POI function enables constant 3D observation and modeling of buildings while flying over a predefined area, thus significantly improving the efficiency of fixed point observation and modeling tasks.
Excellent performance in low-light environments
Night Scene Mode
The Matrice 4 series has received a major upgrade in its night vision mode. Its color night vision now supports three modes and features two levels of noise reduction. Devices equipped with an IR cut filter and a NIR auxiliary light effortlessly overcome the challenges of darkness and ensure clear visibility of targets in search and rescue operations.
Smart low-light photos
The Matrice 4 series cameras feature wider apertures and intelligent low-light features, dramatically improving performance and making shooting in twilight and night easier.

NIR auxiliary light
The Matrice 4T features new NIR illumination hardware, allowing it to illuminate distances up to 100 meters. [4] It ensures clear visibility of objects in dark environments and is ideal for applications such as wildlife protection.
Thermal imaging
The Matrice 4T supports high-resolution infrared mode, providing images with resolutions up to 1280 × 1024. It also features ultra-high resolution, allowing it to reveal fine temperature details for various operations. Each device is calibrated for temperature accuracy and uses a built-in temperature sensor that provides real-time temperature measurements.
Fisheye omnidirectional detection in low light conditions[5]
The Matrice 4 Series features six high-definition fisheye vision sensors with low-light capabilities, significantly improving visual positioning and obstacle avoidance capabilities in low-light conditions. This enables automatic obstacle avoidance, intelligent path rerouting, and safe reentry into low-light urban environments.

Captures every detail from a distance
Enhanced medium telephoto
The Matrice 4 Series features a medium-range camera that extends its performance for medium-range inspection tasks. When inspecting power lines or bridges, it can identify screws and cracks at a distance of 10 meters and clearly read instrument data in substations. [6]

Super resolution telephoto lens
The Matrice 4 Series camera boasts significantly improved clarity, with a resolution of 48MP, and is capable of detecting extraordinary details from signals up to 250 meters away. [7] Additionally, the Matrice 4T features an IR-Cut filter to ensure uninterrupted operation day and night.
Close-up stabilization for telephoto images
Advanced telephoto stabilization keeps foreground subjects stable and clear when shooting telephoto at 10x zoom or higher. In scenarios such as public safety and inspection, subject details are clearly visible.

Electronic haze removal for unparalleled clarity
In smog or humid conditions, electronic dehazing provides three modes (low, medium and high) to improve the image clarity of the Matrice 4 series devices according to different operating environments and different needs.
Precision mapping, to save time and energy
Rapid shots with 0.5 second intervals
The Matrice 4E's wide-angle camera is capable of rapid shooting at 0.5-second intervals in both orthogonal and oblique photography modes, enabling high-speed aerial surveys from multiple angles. Additionally, the mapping flight speed can reach 21 meters per second,[8] significantly improving operational efficiency.

Multidirectional acquisition, multiplied efficiency
5-way oblique acquisition
The Matrice 4 series devices now feature the ability to capture images in 5 directions in oblique mode. The gimbal can intelligently rotate and shoot from multiple angles depending on the shooting area, resulting in more shots in a single flight than previous models [9] and significantly improving the efficiency of oblique photography with small drones.
Orthogonal acquisition in 3 directions [10]
The DJI Matrice 4E enables three-directional orthographic acquisition and allows lateral acquisition during orthographic imaging operations, thus reducing lateral overlap. In a single flight, mapping operations can cover an area of 2.8 square kilometers. [11] Additional elevation optimization flights are not required to achieve better altimetry accuracy. Combined with the new features of DJI Terra, reconstruction efficiency is further improved without compromising quality.
Smart 3D images, precision modeling
The DJI Matrice 4E supports Intelligent 3D Capture, which allows you to capture and create a rough model using the remote control. Based on the rough model, it can quickly generate precise mapping routes near the surface of a structure, perform detailed measurements, and model irregular buildings. It also allows you to display virtual routes in space and photos of waypoints for Intelligent 3D Capture, allowing you to assess the flight safety and coverage area of specific routes.
Smart 3D Explore for modeling
The Matrice 4E can be paired with the Manifold 3 to enable Smart 3D Explore for modeling. Leveraging the powerful computing power of the Manifold 3, the system automatically plans safe flight paths within the object's surroundings and generates a rough 3D model that can be viewed in real time on the remote controller. This streamlines the short-range photogrammetry workflow and improves efficiency.

Distortion correction, accuracy improvement
Distortion Correction 2.0 corrects in-camera distortion with high accuracy and residual distortion of less than 2 pixels. [12] In all Matrice 4E devices, the wide-angle camera is factory calibrated and, when used in combination with DJI Terra, significantly improves reconstruction accuracy.
Automatic generation of reconnaissance reports
At the end of a mission, DJI Pilot 2 automatically generates a reconnaissance quality report. The report contains all key information, such as shooting points, RTK status, and photo parameters. If any anomalies are detected, additional photos can be taken on-site to avoid repeating the trip.
Flight safety, trouble-free operation
Integrated positioning, safe return to the starting position
The Matrice 4 series devices feature a built-in DJI RTK module that supports the extended L5 frequency band and features GNSS + Vision Positioning and navigation. The home position can be updated using vision positioning, allowing for rapid takeoff within 15 seconds. Even in the absence of GNSS signals, these devices can complete the return-to-home process, effectively overcoming signal interruptions and interference commonly encountered in urban environments.
Intelligent guidance, obstacle-free flights
When the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller is connected to the internet, the system can upload terrain elevation maps and preload detailed maps. This allows it to automatically plan a route to avoid obstacles, effectively managing scenarios such as night flying or flying through mountainous areas and ensuring safe flight operations. The drone is equipped with a 5-way vision system and downward vision, which helps provide complete visibility for greater safety.
A new video transmission standard
The O4 Enterprise video transmission system represents a new industry standard for the most critical environments. Thanks to the 8-antenna system in the Matrice 4 series and the high-gain antenna in the remote controller, a transmission range of up to 25 kilometers can be achieved. [13] Furthermore, the system improves image transmission with a download bandwidth of 20MB/s, more than double that of the Mavic 3 Enterprise series, thus ensuring more precise and stable images for upload paths and downloads. [13]
The Matrice 4 Series supports the optional use of a DJI Cellular Dongle 2 adapter. [14] Signal stability is further improved by using 4G image transmission and the aircraft's antennas in combination.
Accessory updates, a leap in performance [15]
Lighthouse with stabilized tracking
The DJI AL1 light is capable of illuminating subjects up to 100 meters away [16] and features two modes, always-on and strobe. Thanks to the gimbal, it is able to connect to and follow the camera's movements to ensure that the illuminated area is aligned with the camera's view. Additionally, the light is able to focus on a single subject and provide a wide field of view (FOV) illuminating large areas.
Real-time speaker
The DJI AS1 speaker features impressive sound power and a long range. It has a transmission range of up to 300 meters and can output a volume of up to 114 decibels at 1 meter away. [17] It supports recorded messages, media import, and text-to-speech conversion. [18] It also features a real-time transmission system and echo cancellation, [19] which improves the efficiency and flexibility of search and rescue operations in emergencies.
Integrated broadcasting and lighting
The beacon and speaker can work independently or together, to meet different operating scenarios.
High-precision D-RTK 3 multifunction station
The D-RTK 3 Multi-Function Station can serve as a base station to provide centimeter-level positioning for multiple drones simultaneously or extend the operating range of drones in Relay Station mode. Additionally, the new Rover Station mode, combined with the DJI Enterprise app and DJI Terra, offers a complete solution for high-precision aerial surveying applications to ensure safe and accurate operations.

DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise
The DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller features a new high-brightness display, ensuring clear visibility even in direct sunlight. The remote controller is IP54 rated and operates in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C. It uses the O4 Enterprise video transmission system and features a series of built-in high-gain antennas for high performance. It also supports hybrid O4 Enterprise and 4G transmission solutions, ensuring stable and smooth video transmission in urban and mountainous environments.
DJI Cellular Dongle 2 [14]
The DJI Cellular Dongle 2 enables video transmission over a 4G network and can work in synergy with the O4 Enterprise video transmission system, thus ensuring flight safety even in complex environments. It also provides cellular network connectivity for the remote controller.
Software designed for industry
DJI Pilot 2
DJI Pilot 2's interface has been completely updated, featuring an intelligent, customizable toolbar and support for various flight route types. It also includes virtual space models and route preview functions,[22] to make operations more convenient and efficient. It can connect with FlightHub 2 to improve drone control operations and facilitate information sharing in the cloud, thus reducing the workload of front-line operators.
DJI FlightHub 2
DJI FlightHub 2 has been updated specifically for the Matrice 4 series aircraft to enable a range of flight route planning features, including remote takeoff and landing, 3D Smart Routes, and geometric and slope routing. Operators can simultaneously control the payload and aircraft with real-time flight control features. During multi-drone operations, operators can synchronize multiple live streams on a single screen, creating a new and efficient air-to-ground operational experience.

DJI Terra
DJI Terra enables high-precision camera distortion correction for the Matrice 4E aircraft. It supports free offline PPK processing of visible-light images and allows importing D-RTK 3 data, resulting in improved reconstruction accuracy. The software provides extensive 2D, 3D, and point cloud models, suitable for various applications such as geographic information, emergency response, and construction planning.

DJI Modify
DJI Modify allows you to intelligently modify 3D mesh and point cloud models. When paired with the Matrice 4 series and DJI Terra, it can create an integrated solution for aerial surveying, modeling, model repair, and sharing.
