10-bit D-Log M
10-bit HLG
Both cameras support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes. 10-bit D-Log M helps preserve more highlight and shadow detail for greater editing flexibility. 10-bit HLG mode, on the other hand, can achieve a higher dynamic range, achieving excellent results without color grading.
Fly in complete safety
Vision Assist
Thanks to an advanced omnidirectional vision system, the Air 3's Vision Assist can provide real-time views from the front, back, left, and right. This helps pilots better understand their surroundings, ensuring safer flights, enabling greater creativity in camera movements, and unlocking the full potential of aerial photography.

Multi-directional flight assistance
For circular or outward camera movements, you can use Vision Assist to precisely measure spatial distances to the left, right, and backward. Even with the gimbal tilted up or down, you can maintain a forward view for safer camera movements and flights.
Medium telephoto assist
When using the 3x medium telephoto lens, the field of view will narrow. However, Vision Assist can provide a wider view of the environment in front of you, helping you accurately gauge the distance to objects to plan safer and smoother flight paths.
Night scene assistance
During night flights, Vision Assist adds an extra layer of safety. By observing the bright spots in the Vision Assist interface, you can identify potential obstacles in the surrounding environment. This will provide greater awareness in flight environments where light levels are too low to support obstacle avoidance.
Innovative charging system for longer flights
Air 3 offers up to 46 minutes of flight time,[1] a 48% increase[5] over the previous generation. This provides enough time to explore, adjust compositions, and get the shots you want, all during a single flight.
The new battery charging station supports an innovative charge transfer function. Simply press and hold the function button to transfer the remaining charge from multiple batteries to the battery with the highest remaining charge,[6] giving you a more than full battery in situations where charging options are limited.

Omnidirectional obstacle sensing
An omnidirectional sensing system enables comprehensive environmental awareness, allowing the Air 3 to sense obstacles in all directions. [2] When obstacles are detected, the Air 3 can utilize APAS 5.0 to perform smoother hovering movements [7] for a safer overall flight experience. Even beginners will now be able to fly with greater confidence and experiment with creative ideas with greater confidence.
O4 HD video transmission
The next-generation O4 HD video transmission system empowers Air 3 with significantly improved transmission performance. It offers a maximum range of 20km [8] with improved stability and live feed up to 1080p/60fps, ensuring ultra-smooth viewing and operation.
Compatible with use of DJI Cellular Dongle 2
DJI introduces Cellular Dongle 2,* the next-generation cellular adapter that can be installed on Air 3 for the first time. It can be inserted directly into the body of the aircraft without the use of an installation kit, ensuring access to the 4G network.
In case of obstruction or interference to the original O4 transmission signal, it is possible to maintain control of the aircraft by relying on the 4G network,** greatly reducing the possibility of disconnection and effectively improving flight safety.
Advanced RTH
During Smart RTH, Air 3 will automatically plan an optimized flight path for Advanced RTH,[9] maintaining omnidirectional obstacle sensing[2] to return to the home point quickly and safely.
