As DJI's first action camera with a variable aperture from f/2.0 [4] to f/4.0, the Osmo Action 6 breaks away from the traditional fixed aperture design and offers aperture modes suitable for a wide range of scenarios [4].

1. Data captured at 25°C (77°F) ambient temperature, recording 1080p/24fps (16:9) video, with RockSteady enabled, Wi-Fi disabled, voice control and gesture control disabled, and displays off. Data captured in a lab environment and for reference purposes only. Actual battery life may vary when activating and using Osmo Action 6 in the EU and UK due to local regulations regarding product operating temperature. Please refer to actual user experience.
2. Two DJI microphones are required. Direct connection to the first-generation DJI Mic is not supported. DJI microphones are sold separately.
3. Before use, close the battery compartment door and USB-C port cover and tighten the glass lens cover. It is recommended to install the waterproof case for prolonged underwater shooting or in environments with high water pressure. Osmo Action 6 and the waterproof case are IP68 waterproof. Do not use the camera in hot springs or extreme underwater environments, or allow it to come into contact with corrosive or unknown liquids. The shutter/record button is disabled at approximately 0.14 MPa (approximately 14 m depth). The actual depth at which the shutter/record button becomes disabled may vary depending on water conditions, atmospheric pressure, and device status.
4. In Auto mode, you can choose from five aperture ranges (f/2.0–f/4.0, f/2.2–f/4.0, f/2.4–f/4.0, f/2.6–f/4.0, and f/2.8–f/4.0), with f/2.0–f/4.0 set as the default. In Large Aperture (f/2.0) mode, the aperture is fixed at f/2.0. Aperture ranges may be limited depending on shooting modes and accessories. 5. The Standard Osmo Action 6 combo does not include the macro lens for Osmo Action 6, which is sold separately. When paired with the macro lens, the focus distance can be adjusted between 11 cm and 75 cm. The macro lens is not suitable for underwater use (e.g., scuba diving) and is splashproof only. When the macro lens is attached, some shooting modes or functions may be limited. Please refer to your device's display for details.
6. For best results, the Starburst aperture mode (f/4.0) is recommended in urban night scenes brighter than 80 lux.
7. SuperNight mode supports 10-bit color depth. It does not support Horizon Balancing, Horizon Steady, the 155° ultra-wide angle field of view, or the 4:3 aspect ratio. Some aperture modes may not be available in SuperNight mode. For more details, please visit the FAQ page on the official Osmo Action 6 website.
8. 10-bit D-Log M color mode can be activated in Normal, Slow Motion, and Hyperlapse video modes.
9. To use 32x Super Slow Motion, you must record standard 1080p/240fps video. Once recording is complete, you can apply the slow motion effect with a single tap on the camera's playback screen. The 960fps frame rate is an in-camera interpolation equivalent of 1080p, not native 4K.
10. EIS is not supported in Timelapse and Slow Motion modes on Osmo Action 6. HorizonSteady and HorizonBalancing are supported for 1080p/2.7K/4K videos (≤ 60 fps) with 16:9 aspect ratio and custom 4K videos with frame rates of 60 fps or lower.
11. 2× lossless zoom is not supported when shooting 38MP and 34MP photos, or in SuperNight, Subject Tracking, Slow Motion, and Timelapse modes.
12. Only supported with 16:9 aspect ratio and at frame rates below 100fps.
13. This feature requires updating the firmware to the latest version.
14. The underwater pressure gauge activates at a depth of 1 meter and only when the camera is submerged without the waterproof case.
15. Both hands can be detected within a 2-meter range. Do not cover your head with your hands. Raise your hand and open your palm to start or stop recording or take a photo. Actual range may vary with future firmware updates.
16. Applicable to cycling data from Huawei Watch/Band, Apple Watch, Garmin devices or third-party FIT files.
17. The Standard Osmo Action 6 Combo does not include the FOV Boost lens for Osmo Action 6, which is sold separately. The FOV Boost lens is not suitable for underwater use (e.g., scuba diving) and is splash-proof only. Slow Motion mode is not supported when the FOV Boost lens is attached.
18. Osmo Action 6's native FOV can reach up to 155°. When equipped with the FOV Boost lens, Osmo Action 6's FOV expands to 182°. While 182° is the maximum optical FOV achievable with this design, the actual FOV during shooting may vary slightly due to distortion correction and stabilization settings.
19. Only applicable to iOS devices and some Android devices that support third-party Live Photo integration.
20. Applicable to devices that support third-party Bluetooth remote control protocols, including HUAWEI WATCH 5, HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, Wuyang-Honda motorcycles (G150, F125, NSP), Amazfit smartwatches (T-Rex Ultra, CheetahPro, Falcon), Magene cycling computers (C506, C606, C706), Giant cycling computers (PLANET G9), and others. Bluetooth GPS remote controls are sold separately.
21. For high-speed USB 3.1 data transfer, a compatible USB 3.1 cable is required, sold separately. In an interference-free environment, photos and videos can be wirelessly transferred at speeds up to 80MB/s when saved to the built-in memory, or up to 50MB/s when stored on an SD card. The included USB-C to USB-C (USB 3.1) PD cable supports transfer speeds up to 300MB/s.
22. Measured under laboratory conditions at 25°C (77°F), using a USB-C charger that supports the PD 3.0 standard with a maximum PD output power of 30W or more, with photo/video capture functions disabled and displays off. Data collected under laboratory conditions and for reference purposes only.
23. EIS is not supported in Timelapse and Slow Motion modes on Osmo Action 4 and Osmo Action 5 Pro. HorizonSteady only supports 1080p/2.7K (≤ 60fps) video with 16:9 aspect ratio, and HorizonBalancing only supports 1080p/2.7K/4K (≤ 60fps) video with 16:9 aspect ratio.
24. Subject Tracking mode is only available in horizontal shooting and for video recording up to 2.7K/60fps with 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios. When the Osmo Action 6 Macro Lens is installed, subject tracking is not supported.
25. Data measured under laboratory conditions at -20°C (-4°F) and 45°C (113°F), recording 1080p/24fps (16:9) video with RockSteady enabled, Wi-Fi disabled, and displays off. Maximum continuous recording times at -20°C (-4°F) and 45°C (113°F) were 167 minutes and 190 minutes, respectively. Data collected under laboratory conditions and provided for reference purposes only.
