DJI Mic Mini 2S: Ultralight Wireless Microphone System with 32-bit Float Internal Recording and 4TX + 1RX Connectivity
The DJI Mic Mini 2S represents the natural professional evolution in ultra-portable audio by DJI, combining maximum discretion at just 12 grams per transmitter with advanced recording features previously reserved for studio systems. Designed for content creators, professional videographers, field journalists, and traveling crews, the Mic Mini 2S introduces 32-bit Float internal recording with 16 GB of built-in memory, providing a distortion- and clipping-proof audio "safety net". Capable of handling up to 4 simultaneous transmitters on a single receiver, connecting natively to camera ecosystems via the OsmoAudio protocol, and offering a range of up to 400 meters, the DJI Mic Mini 2S redefines the reliability of video productions both in the studio and outdoors.
Key Features and Technological Innovations
32-bit Float Internal Recording and 16 GB of Backup Memory
- Pro Audio Without Clipping (32-bit Float): Thanks to 32-bit Float internal recording, the audio track captures an extremely wide dynamic range, making constant gain control unnecessary. Very quiet voices or sudden shouts can be perfectly recovered in post-production without any distortion.
- 16 GB of Local Memory (~28 Hours of Audio): Allows you to store up to 28 hours in 24-bit format (or about 22 hours in 32-bit Float), serving as an independent backup track in the event of interference or wireless radio disconnections.
- Ultra-Fast Transfer via Case: By connecting the charging case directly to a smartphone or computer, internal files can be transferred at speeds of up to 34 MB/s (a 30-minute file downloads in about 8 seconds).
4TX + 1RX Multi-Channel Connectivity and OsmoAudio
- Manage Up to 4 Transmitters Simultaneously: The new receiver allows you to pair up to 4 TX units (also compatible in a mixed network with the Mini/Mini 2 generation), ideal for multi-voice podcasts, interviews, and roundtables.
- Direct OsmoAudio Connection: The transmitters connect without the need for an external receiver to compatible devices such as the DJI Osmo Pocket series, Osmo Action, and the DJI e-mobility range.
- Two-Level AI Noise Cancellation: Advanced artificial intelligence algorithms precisely isolate the human voice, eliminating ambient background noise and wind, complemented by 3 presets dedicated to voice tones.
Featherweight 12g Design and Up to 40 Hours of Battery Life
- Discreet Magnetic Mounting: The weight of just 12 grams and the ultra-compact magnetic clip allow you to position the microphone on clothing without deforming the fabric or being visible on camera.
- Battery Life and Fast Charging: The transmitters offer up to 11 hours of continuous operation on a single charge, reaching 40 hours total thanks to the multifunctional charging case.
