The DJI Mic Mini transmitter is compact and lightweight, weighing just 10g, [5] for comfortable and discreet wearing. Attached magnetically or clipped on, it won't weigh down your collar or sway, even on thin shirts, so you always look your best on video.
DJI Mic Mini allows you to record omnidirectional audio. The receiver can connect to two transmitters simultaneously. Even when recording sounds from multiple directions, this microphone excellently reproduces the richness of the sound, ensuring you always capture high-quality audio.
DJI Mic Mini offers two levels of noise cancellation to suit different usage environments. [3] The Basic level is perfect for quiet, indoor environments, reducing noise from fans, air conditioning, and reverberation to preserve the clarity of voices.
The High level is ideal for noisy environments, where it significantly reduces ambient noise for cleaner audio.
By using transmitters with wind shields, DJI Mic Mini can effectively reduce wind noise and other sounds. Perfect for windy environments and noisier scenarios, such as live streaming and vlogging.
When auto adjustment is enabled, [4] DJI Mic Mini automatically reduces the volume of input audio if it is too loud, preventing clipping and ensuring consistently excellent sound quality. This feature is especially useful for content creation.
Simply turn the wheel on the receiver to easily adjust the gain between five levels, ensuring practical and effective use.
DJI Mic Mini supports both mono and stereo (dual-channel) recording. Audio captured by both transmitters can be played back individually or combined onto a single track, offering greater flexibility in post-production.
By enabling safety track in the DJI Mimo app, DJI Mic Mini can record on dual tracks. The main track is recorded at a normal volume, while the secondary track is 6 dB quieter, protecting your audio from clipping and distortion. This allows you to capture usable audio even with the volume fluctuations typical of live performances.
The transmitter and receiver have a battery life of 11.5 hours and 10.5 hours respectively [6] . A fully charged case allows for 3.6 full charges, for a total of 48 hours of extended use. [1] This makes DJI Mic Mini ideal for long trips, interviews, and other intensive use scenarios.
Just five minutes of charging provides approximately one hour of use for both the receiver and transmitter,[7] significantly increasing charging efficiency. 1.2C fast charging allows the receiver and transmitter to be charged in approximately 100 and 90 minutes respectively,[8] so you can get back to work in no time.
The transmitter automatically enters sleep mode when it isn't receiving a signal from the receiver. It reactivates by reconnecting to the receiver as soon as it detects a new input. This feature allows you to wear the transmitter for longer periods of time without having to frequently turn it on and off.
In the DJI Mimo app, you can set the transmitter and receiver to automatically power off after a certain period of inactivity. When this feature is enabled on both devices, they will automatically power off if they are not connected for more than 15 minutes, reducing battery consumption and extending your creative process.
Audio is transmitted up to 400 meters away [10], and thanks to DJI Mic Mini's powerful anti-interference capabilities, audio remains stable and clear even in noisy or crowded outdoor environments.
The transmitter supports direct connection to Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, and Osmo Pocket 3 without the use of a receiver. The DJI OsmoAudio™ connectivity ecosystem delivers premium audio, simplifying your gear and workflow for a more efficient creative process.
The receiver is compatible with cameras, smartphones, computers and tablets. [11] When connected to a camera via the dedicated audio cable (TRS 3.5 mm), it allows for synchronized power on and off with the camera. When connected to a smartphone, it allows for external audio playback without disconnecting from the phone, from which it can also be charged. When the receiver is connected to a phone and a power source via the USB-C port, both devices can be charged during use. [12]
DJI Mic Mini is compatible with the DJI Neo drone. Once your drone is connected to the DJI Fly app, you can connect it to DJI Mic Mini via your smartphone's Bluetooth to record audio. The DJI Fly app automatically eliminates propeller noise and adds audio to your video footage, ensuring clear sound for your vlogs even when shooting at low altitudes. This adapter connects the DJI Mic Mini receiver directly to the MI hot shoe of a Sony camera, enabling 48kHz 24-bit digital audio recording, with the camera powering the receiver. After enabling the Auto On/Off with Camera feature in the DJI Mimo app, when connected to the camera via the hot shoe, the receiver will automatically turn on when the camera is turned on and turn off when the camera is turned off.
When the transmitter is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, you can update the transmitter's firmware directly via the Mimo app. By connecting your smartphone to the receiver with a USB-C adapter,[13] a single tap in the app will complete the system-wide update. You can also adjust noise cancellation, auto-tuning, and start/stop shooting settings directly in the app.

1. 2. DJI Mic Mini transmitters support direct connection with select DJI products (one transmitter for Osmo Action 4, up to two transmitters for Osmo Pocket 3 and Osmo Action 5 Pro). When connected directly to the device, the transmitter's operating time is approximately 7-8 hours. Compatibility with other DJI products will be available in the future.
3. The High and Basic noise cancellation levels can be set in the DJI Mimo app, or directly on the product interface when using Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, or Osmo Pocket 3 connected to one or more transmitters via DJI OsmoAudio™ direct connection. When the transmitter is connected directly to your phone, you will not be able to adjust the noise cancellation level in the Mimo app. The High level will be set by default.
4. When the transmitter is used with the receiver, the auto-tuning function is enabled by default and can be disabled or re-enabled in the DJI Mimo app. When the transmitter is connected directly to a phone via Bluetooth, this function is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. The function can also be enabled or disabled directly from the product interface when using Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, or Osmo Pocket 3 connected to one or more transmitters via DJI OsmoAudio™ direct connection.
