1-inch CMOS sensor, to capture like a pro

With a 1-inch 50MP CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, Mini 5 Pro captures rich detail and sharp low-light shots. Despite its compact size, it delivers professional-level images.

Mini 5 Pro features a 1-inch CMOS sensor that supports 4K/60fps HDR video recording with up to 14 stops of dynamic range for cinematic images [4]. This large sensor, enhanced by new image processing technology and intelligent algorithms [5], preserves even the finest details in low-light conditions like sunsets and nightscapes, delivering simply breathtaking shots. With the 48mm Med-Tele mode, subjects stand out more in the frame, while portrait optimization algorithms [6] capture every expression with remarkable clarity.

With 2x zoom, the new 48mm Med-Tele mode now offers higher image resolution than the digital zoom of previous DJI Mini Pro series. Subjects pop with more texture, adding depth to your aerial shots.

Equipped with DJI's Portrait Optimization technology [6], DJI Mini 5 Pro enhances brightness, contrast, and skin tones in portraits. Compact, yet cinematic

4K/60fps HDR video

HDR video mode offers up to 14 stops of dynamic range [4], capturing cinematic footage in high-contrast scenes, such as detailed views of cloud textures and other elements during sunrise and sunset.

4K/120fps slow motion video

Mini 5 Pro supports 4K/120fps slow-motion video recording, delivering stunning clarity and smoothness at a high resolution and frame rate. Dynamic details come to life, adding impact to your footage and providing greater creative flexibility in post-production.

10-bit video and high ISO performance

Even in normal color mode, Mini 5 Pro can record 10-bit video using the H.265 codec, offering excellent color performance and great flexibility in post-production, with the maximum ISO increased to 12,800. In D-Log M and HLG color modes, the maximum ISO is increased to 3200, bringing greater brightness and detail to urban night scenes.

True vertical shooting and flexible 225° gimbal rotation

Mini 5 Pro supports extended angular rotation and true vertical shooting, offering greater freedom and possibilities for camera movement. Both manual control and intelligent modes offer greater flexibility in camera angles and flight paths, enabling more creative compositions. Even when shooting upwards at tall buildings or from difficult angles, unique perspectives that were once difficult to capture can now be achieved with ease, fully unlocking creative inspiration.

225° gimbal rotation for dynamic camera movements

With a 225° roll rotation, the gimbal allows for flexible and dynamic camera movements. Combined with intelligent modes like QuickShot Rotate, Timelapse, Spotlight, and Waypoint Flight, capturing creative rotational shots is now a breeze.

Native vertical shots for social content

Excellent for skyscrapers, waterfalls, and vibrant city scenes, it instantly records and shares vertical videos and photos. No cropping required. Every photo and video is social media-ready, filling the screen with vibrant, full-frame brilliance.

Safe flight with omnidirectional obstacle sensing at night [1]

Mini 5 Pro is equipped with a front-facing LiDAR and multiple vision sensors for omnidirectional obstacle sensing at night [1], making the return home safer. In urban nightscapes, it actively detects and avoids obstacles along the flight and return paths for worry-free night flying. With sufficient light, it can memorize flight paths [7], allowing for safe takeoff and return even without satellite signal.

Equipped with a front-facing LiDAR, Mini 5 Pro features front and rear fisheye lenses for forward, backward, left, right, and upward sensing. The bottom features binocular lenses and a 3D infrared sensor for omnidirectional obstacle sensing.

RTH at night

With forward-facing LiDAR, Mini 5 Pro detects obstacles like tall buildings even in low-light conditions and intelligently maneuvers upwards [7], ensuring safer returns during night flights.

RTH without GNSS

Powered by real-time visual positioning and map-building technologies, Mini 5 Pro memorizes flight paths when adequate lighting is available [7]. This ensures a safe return even when taking off from places without satellite signal, such as balconies.

Dual-band GNSS

With L1 + L5 dual-band GNSS, Mini 5 Pro connects to more satellites, for better signal stability and precise positioning.

ActiveTrack 360° updated

Mini 5 Pro captures every moment, wherever you are. The updated ActiveTrack 360° offers customizable tracking in different scenarios and ensures more stable and safer performance [8].

Multi-scenario tracking

Mini 5 Pro detects sports scenarios and automatically selects Cycling or Standard mode for optimal framing and tracking. In Standard mode, the drone follows your path in real time, maintaining a constant altitude and distance. In Cycling mode, it reacts quickly to turns and changes in speed to keep you locked on and perfectly framed.

Smoother and safer tracking

Tracking performance has been improved to balance speed, agility, and safety. In open areas, the maximum tracking speed has been increased to 15 m/s [9] for faster response. In complex environments, the drone can switch to rear-tracking mode, constantly keeping the object in focus and enabling creative freedom with confidence.

It supports Free Panorama mode, allowing you to create flawless panoramic shots by stitching multiple images of a manually selected object or area.

QuickTransfer when off

Mini 5 Pro supports remote wake-up via the DJI Fly app within Bluetooth range. Without removing the aircraft or remote controller [10], files can be transferred at up to 100 MB/s [11] via Wi-Fi 6. Even when switching to other apps, the DJI Fly app continues to download in the background.

Reliable video transmission and long flight time

Extended flight time with faster charging

The Intelligent Flight Battery offers up to 36 minutes of flight time [12] for extended creativity. Three Intelligent Flight Batteries can be fully charged in approximately 115 minutes [13], with fast charging for reduced downtime.

DJI O4+ 10-bit video transmission

The O4+ video transmission supports a range of up to 20km [14], using DJI's latest transmission algorithm for greater interference protection and more stable and reliable live feeds.

Take off from new heights

Operating at altitudes up to 6000 meters [15], with an increased maximum climb rate of 10 m/s [15] for agile vertical movement, Mini 5 Pro is ready for high-altitude environments and wider horizons.

1. Conditions for enabling omnidirectional obstacle sensing in night mode: The front, rear, left, right, and top of the aircraft are close to textured surfaces with illumination greater than 1 lux. Likewise, the underlying ground is discernible and has diffuse reflectivity greater than 20% (such as walls, trees, or people), even in illumination conditions greater than 1 lux. DO NOT fly in adverse weather conditions, such as strong winds (wind speed of 12 m/s or higher), snow, rain, lightning, or fog. DO NOT operate the aircraft at altitudes of 6,000 m above sea level or higher. DO NOT operate the drone in environments where the temperature is below -10°C or above 40°C. DO NOT take off from moving objects such as cars or boats. DO NOT operate the drone near reflective surfaces, such as water or snow. Otherwise, the vision system may not function properly. The vision system may not function properly in low-light conditions. Always fly cautiously and avoid allowing the drone to enter Attitude Mode. DO NOT fly near areas subject to magnetic or radio interference. Common sources of magnetic or radio interference include Wi-Fi hotspots, routers, Bluetooth devices, high-voltage power lines, large-scale power transmission stations, radar stations, mobile base stations, and transmission towers. Use caution when taking off in a desert or from a beach to prevent sand from entering the aircraft. Operate the drone in open spaces and away from crowds. Buildings, mountains, and trees can block the GNSS signal and affect the onboard compass.
2. Using the Intelligent Flight Battery, the maximum flight time is 36 minutes. Data was acquired with the aircraft flying forward at a constant speed of 21.6 km/h in a windless environment at sea level, with obstacle avoidance set to Brake and in photo mode, until forced landing due to low voltage. Check local laws and regulations before flying.
3. When using this product in different countries or regions, be sure to complete the required procedures and comply with local laws and regulations. Mini 5 Pro is C0 certified by default in the EU. To upgrade to C1 certification, contact DJI Support via the DJI Fly app. Always check and confirm local laws and regulations before flying.
4. 14-stop dynamic range is available when shooting in Auto mode, but not when shooting in slow motion or in 48mm Med-Tele mode.
5. Compared to DJI Mini 4 Pro.
6. Portrait optimization is only supported in Normal color mode. This feature is not available in HLG and D-Log M modes.
7. Conditions for storing flight paths: The front, rear, left, right, or top of the drone must be near surfaces with a defined texture and illumination above 10 lux. Likewise, the underlying terrain must be discernible and have a diffuse reflectivity greater than 20% (such as walls, trees, or people), even in illumination above 10 lux. For balcony takeoff, ensure there is at least a 2 x 2 meter clear space and a height of less than 30 meters above the ground for a safe return home. If the drone reaches its altitude limit while avoiding obstacles, it will hover at that height.
8. It is recommended to use the 360° ActiveTrack feature outdoors. Refer to the user manual for unsupported scenarios or scenarios that could potentially interrupt recording. In complex environments with many obstacles, use caution when using Auto mode to ensure flight safety and personal safety.
9. Measured in an open, windless test environment with the drone taking off from an altitude of 0 meters.
10. DJI Mini 5 Pro maintains Bluetooth connectivity for 12 hours after being turned off, allowing you to connect directly to your smartphone without having to turn the drone back on. Bluetooth automatically deactivates 12 hours after the drone is turned off.
